Zhongyi Assists with 100MW Photovoltaic Power Station in Hetian Area in Xinjiang
Recently, the 100,000 kW photovoltaic power station in the Hotan region of Xinjiang successfully began construction. Xinjiang has abundant sunlight and is classified as a Category II solar region. This project will utilize the ample solar and land resources in Luopu County to build a large-scale ground-mounted photovoltaic power station. Located in Luopu County, Hotan, Xinjiang, the project is invested by the State Power Investment Corporation Xinjiang Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd. with a planned capacity of 100,000 kW.
The project will use Zhongyi New Energy’s 540/545Wp bifacial double-glass monocrystalline modules, totaling 144,560 units, with an overall installed capacity of 100 MW. Upon completion, the project will effectively alleviate the electricity shortage in southern Xinjiang, achieve precise poverty alleviation, save local water resources, utilize land more efficiently, promote renewable energy, and drive the diversification of the energy industry in Xinjiang. This will have significant implications for the transformation and long-term development of the energy structure.
"Let humanity enjoy clean energy" is Zhongyi’s corporate mission. Zhongyi will continue to adhere to its original intention, deepen cooperative methods, concentrate high-tech innovations, and develop green energy.
